I love being an actor because it allows the opportunity to honor a person’s presence, values, beliefs, journey; and at the same time to further explore my own belief systems, morals, and truths. People tell me my spirit shines. I hope that rings true for all the roles I am entrusted to play.

Trivia: My favorite role to this day was playing Berniece Charles in August Wilson's The Piano Lesson. Director Peg O'Keef had this to say: "I am grateful for the gift of your phenomenal discipline and subtle strength as Berniece...a joy to behold on stage and an example for every actor to follow."
